My journey has had its peaks and troughs, just like most wonderful humans out there, with a love of health and nutrition initially developing in my mid twenties closely followed by a qualification in Personal Training. The birth of my twins further compelled that fascination for a more natural approach to life, as they grew and transversed that amazing immunity challenge that childhood brings, I learnt more focusing on their wellness but not so much my own. My journey was slow (and somewhat distracted) in discovering that awareness of my own bodys language, I’m not sure I had anyone in my life that encouraged that skill of tuning into yourself, this is something I feel passionate about sharing. I made the leap from the career I fell into, Information Communication &amp; Technology (ICT), to the one I have an innate love and passion for in Natural Health completing a 4 year Bachelor of Health Science degree in Naturopathy, empowering me with a depth of knowledge in therapeutic nutrition and botanical medicine. Immediately immersing myself within the profession, I joined the NHAA (Naturopaths &amp; Herbalists Association of Australia), where in 2021 I was elected to the board of directors and currently chair the events committee. I love being a part of advocacy for our profession, the involvement in bringing our profession together and the exposure to the latest education, research and leaders in our profession, both locally and internationally.</image:caption>
